Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon

Day 1: Arrival Yangon

Arrival at Yangon international airport and be welcomed by your personal tour guide. Start yangon sightseeing with a visit to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda (one of the largest reclining image of Buddha in Myanmar) to see a huge reclining Buddha image.Then, enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda (its golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold), famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the Heart of Buddhism Myanmar.The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar People praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. And transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo – Yangon (B)

After early breakfast at hotel, drive to Golden Rock, Arrival at Kin Pun ‘base camp’, a steep and rough 11-km dirt road leads to the upper staging point. From there to “Yathae Hill”, open trucks are used for hilly track up. At the Yathae Hill, one has to trek for about one hour up hill. It can also be reached by Sedan Chairs which are easily available. And return back to Yangon. And overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon – Bago – Yangon (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, full day excursion to an ancient of Mon Kingdom, Bago (the Hansawaddy Dynasty), 80 km to the north west of Yangon. Proceed to Kyaikpun the four Buddha images sittings in back – to – back position. Continue to 55 m long & 16 m high reclining Shwethalyaung (a huge reclining Buddha image) and 376 ft high Shwemawdaw Pagoda (50 ft higher than the great Shwedagon). After lunch at local restaurant, sightseeing continues to Bago Market where Myanmar traditional cheroot industry is. Observe the Buddhism ways of living in Bago and environs. Return back to Yangon On the way, observe the World War Two Cemetery – 27,000 tombstones of allied soldiers who lost their lives in Myanmar during the World War II at Htaukkyant. The cemetery is peaceful and beautifully tended. On the way, visit Kyauk Taw Gyi – this sitting Buddha image which is curved out from single marble stone. If time permits, we also visit to “White Elephants Camp” which is just a stone’s throw away from the airport. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.

Day 4: Yangon Full Day sightseeing (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, full day tour in Yangon. Sightseeing inclusive of Kabar Aye (the world Peace pagoda) and Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod). After that, we bring you to an authorized gems and jewelry shop where you can pick up a wide variety of precious things. After lunch, tour continues to Sule Pagoda (the heart of the city) located at the centre of Yangon. And study ways of living of Yangon citizens and the colonial style buildings downtown. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 5: Yangon Departure (B)

After breakfast at hotel, you are at your leisure shopping at Bogyoke market (formerly known as Scott’s market, closed on Monday) it is one of the best for souvenir shopping paradise. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight. End of services.
